Project Summary: Bouldering League Competition

Overview:
The 4 Week Bouldering Battle Royale was an annual competition designed to bring climbers together in a fun and challenging environment. Over the course of four weeks, teams competed to accumulate points based on their climbing achievements, culminating in a thrilling finals night. This event encouraged teamwork and friendly competition among climbers of all levels.

Event Details:

  • Duration: 3 weeks of climbing (Tuesday to Sunday) followed by finals night on April 25th, 2024.

  • Teams: Each team consisted of 4 participants.

  • Solo participants could register as Free Agents, allowing them to either join an existing team or form a new team with other Free Agents.

  • During the finale, winners were announced, and raffle prizes were given out, all supplied by company sponsorships.

Climbing Sessions:

  • Teams could climb on any designated bouldering league day.

  • For scoring, the top 5 climbs of each team member were counted, with the top 3 climber scores contributing to the team total.

Rules:

  • No substitutions were allowed for team members once the league had started.

  • Registration included participation in league nights, a bouldering league shirt or tank, entry to finals night, and a raffle entry during finals.
