Project Summary: September Yoga Challenge
Overview:
The September Yoga Challenge was designed to celebrate National Yoga Month by encouraging participation among all members and non-members at Sender One gyms that offered yoga. The challenge aimed to foster community engagement, promote wellness, and reward dedicated participants with exciting prizes.
Challenge Duration:
Dates: September 1st to September 30th.
Locations: All Sender One gyms that offered yoga, with potential inclusion of Playa.
Participation:
Open to all members and non-members.
Participants earned one star for each yoga or mat pilates class attended at their home gym.
Scoring:
Stars were accumulated throughout the month.
Only classes attended at the member's home gym counted towards the challenge (e.g., LAX members could not attend SNA classes for star accumulation).
Rewards:
1st Place: One free month membership.
2nd Place: Manduka Yoga Mat.
3rd Place: Sender One coffee mug.
For every 5 classes attended, participants received an extra guest pass, added to their accounts at the end of the challenge.
Sign-Up Process:
No pre-registration was required, but participants had to check in to each class to receive a star, and data was used to track attendance.
Expected Outcomes:
Increased participation in yoga classes and enhanced member engagement.
Strengthened sense of community within each gym as members strove to attend more classes.
Promotion of overall wellness and the benefits of yoga.
Marketing Channels:
Email newsletters were sent to current members and prospects.
Social media posts and stories generated excitement and awareness.
Posters were displayed in gyms to remind members of the challenge and its benefits.
Weekly progress updates were shared on the Yoga Month Board, highlighting top participants and encouraging others to join in.
